Who We Are

Social Shoreline (socialshoreline.com) operates a free coastal-themed social casino entertainment site for adults in Canada. We handle personal information under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to information you provide when you contact us and to limited technical data stored on your device while you use the site. It does not cover third-party websites you may reach through external links.

Information You Provide

If you use our Support page or email us, we may receive your name, email address, subject line, and message content. We do not ask for payment card numbers, government ID, or financial account details because the platform does not process payments.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not operate user accounts. Gameplay scores, virtual credit balances, card layouts, and similar session details stay in your browser memory and are not uploaded to our servers. We do not run behavioural advertising profiles or sell personal data.

Why We Use Personal Information

We use contact details solely to read, answer, and close support requests; to improve how we respond to common questions; and to meet legal obligations where required. We do not use your messages for unrelated marketing.

Legal Basis and Consent

By sending a message you consent to our processing of the details you supply for that purpose. You may withdraw consent for future contact by writing to us, subject to records we must keep by law.

Device Storage

After you pass the age gate we store a single local value (ssl_ok) in your browser鈥檚 localStorage so you are not asked again on the same device. It records only that you confirmed eligibility; it is not sent to us and is not used for analytics.

Sharing and Processors

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose data only if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to service providers bound by confidentiality who help us operate email or hosting鈥攁nd only to the extent needed for that task.

Retention

Support correspondence is kept up to twelve months unless a longer period is needed to resolve an issue or comply with law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited data we hold. No online transmission is completely secure; please avoid sending sensitive personal information in support messages.

Your Rights

Under PIPEDA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control, and you may challenge our compliance with the Act. Contact support@socialshoreline.com; we aim to reply within thirty days.

Children

The site is intended only for persons aged eighteen and older in Canada. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone who does not meet that requirement.

Changes

We may revise this policy from time to time. The version published on the site at the time of your visit applies. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
